The Weekend, wrapped up

My newest baby
We had one of those weekends where we didn't do much, but in a nice way, if you know what I mean? Friday, bubs & I went into town to pick up my new overlocker. Gareth & I talked about it & decided to just make the investment of a new one. I had been looking at second hand ones but was a little dubious as I don't know a hell of a lot about them & didn't want to buy some crapper that I would then have to spend a crap load on fixing it. Gareth agreed with the provision that I have to make some money from it, soooo it looks as though the business idea I've been forming in my mind might come to fruition in a short while. You will find out about this later!

Saturday Gareth came home from work at midday & I was kinda not right. I don't have many days like this & I wasn't that bad but not quite right either. Gareth says he likes when I have these days as I'm "human hanna" and it makes him feel better! I made the mistake of staying indoors when I should have just got out & taken bubs for a walk so it was part cooped up as well. Bubi had been a little grizzly all day & was in one of those moods when she just didn't want to do anything I offered her. I'm a big believer that babies feed off the behaviour of those around them so it's no surprise that she was in a bit of a poop. I just wasn't inspired to cheer her up & couldn't think of anything to do, I just wanted to lie around..so that's what we did until G got home. The poor boy, he just finished his 5 1/2 days at work & had to come home to a stinky girlfriend & baby. To his credit he just got in there & took Isobel off my hands for most of the afternoon. We then had a lovely dinner at my Mum's to celebrate my sister Abbey's b'day. Mum cooked a cracking chicken roast & pavlova for dessert. So yum! Bubs was a champ, didn't grizzle the entire evening despite the late bedtime. I thinked she liked the change in scenery. Today Gareth & Izzy had some play time so I made sure to get some nice shots of Daddy & his little girl, which I don't normally do. I love them! We went for a massive walk & had coffee & I felt a whole lot better about life! It's amazing what some fresh air does for the soul.

Now these things are called Bees & they bite!

Hard day in the office
I found my ear!

Busted! Watching those video clips of Siouxsie & The Banshees again!

Also, one of my daily reads, Danielle from Sometimes Sweet has written an inspiring blog on keeping things positive in the bloggin world tonight. It's all about commenting & letting people know that you're reading so if you get a chance pop on over & have a read & maybe follow some of her advice. I've done a couple already including emailing one of my favourite reads.

And if you're reading this for the first time or are a regular reader either follow me or leave a comment. I'd love to know whose reading out there!
