I've been dying to get Isobel into some little shoes for a while now but she didn't quite fit the ones we had. I've seen a few patterns to make fabric ballet slippers on Etsy but haven't quite made the time to fit in making them, I'm hoping to make a few to match the outfits I've been sewing.
Last week I went through my monthly ritual of trying on all her adorable little shoes, hoping she could fit them & what do you know she sort of fits them enough to wear them. When I say sorta, I mean that her toes are a couple of inches from the top but who's counting?
These little silver mary janes were a gift from my Mum & I absolutely adore them!
Isobel just spent the day trying to take them off...
