Another Sunday adventure
This was over a month ago & concludes our short lived Sunday adventuring. Life has been a bit busy & the weather not so flash so we haven't been getting out & about lately.
This particular day we visited Pukeiti, a park close to the mountain & filled with native bush & gardens. Very beautiful, you could easily spend the day there.

A sunday walk
We've been trying to take advantage of Sunday afternoons with fun family time. I get home early & if the weather is nice we've been finding little places around this town with nice walks & lovely gardens.

Spring & a day with my girl

Isobel & I had the best day on Monday. I try & make Monday our day after working all weekend. The weather held out from rain for just enough time to frolic about Pukekura park. We went to the fernery & I never realised how pretty it was at this time of the year. The flowers were all blooming & the animals are having babies. We ran about for a couple of hours & I took a million photos & then it rained. Hello spring.

a little girl & her Elmo
I didn't think it would happen but she has a lovey toy. Little Elmo now goes everywhere with her: shower, car rides, park, walks, bed etc. She shows him planes in the sky & feeds him her lunch. It's pretty cute really.

Playground addict
We've had some lovely winter afternoons lately where Gareth has come home early & we've started our ritual of long evening walks again. Something we love doing in the summer but is quite a mission when the days are short & cold.
And stopping by the playground is a must with a toddler in tow.
This particular evening she "borrowed" some balls from the school, I'm still not sure whose they were & she climbed up all of the rungs in order to get to the top of the playground. A first for her!
